ISD – Dyslexia Therapy Spelling Situations Deck

The Spelling Situations Deck (or ISD, as it is called in some training classes) is a 3×5 full color green card. The card contains the following:

1. Number in the sequence of presentation
2. The sound with code markings between /  /
3. Teacher keywords in order of presentation
4. Student oral response, fully written out to aid the new therapist
5. Explanation of situations when used in the I, M, /, or F positions
6. Any rules that may apply
